Pak Kazak Rug
This hand-knotted Kazak rug comes from the border region between Pakistan and Afghanistan, an area known for producing bold and durable carpets inspired by classic Caucasian designs.
Woven using hand-spun Ghazni wool, the yarn is tightly twisted to give the surface a natural sheen reminiscent of silk, while maintaining the strength and warmth of wool. The rug features vibrant vegetable-dyed colors, including rich indigo, deep terracotta, and golden ivory, all arranged in a striking medallion-and-corner layout with traditional Kazak geometry.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
Our carpets are made to be lived with, not just looked at. But like any heirloom, they thrive with care.
- Shake, don’t scrub. For regular upkeep, gently shake or vacuum your carpet to lift out dust and dirt. Avoid using a beater brush.
- Spot clean with love. If there's a spill, blot gently with a clean cloth. Use mild detergent and cold water, no harsh chemicals.
- Rotate occasionally. Turning your carpet every few months helps it wear evenly, especially in high-traffic areas.
- Let it breathe. Wool loves air. Every now and then, let your carpet soak in sunlight and fresh air, just not too long to avoid fading.
- Professional help for deep cleaning. Once in a while, a gentle hand wash or expert cleaning will restore its natural glow.
These carpets are built with resilience, just like the people who’ve woven them for generations. Treat them kindly, and they’ll walk with you for years to come.
