Baloch-Turkmen Weave
This handmade rug comes from northern Afghanistan, an area where Baloch and Turkmen weaving styles naturally converge. The design reflects this overlap, combining the bold, symmetrical patterns typical of Baloch rugs with the octagonal motifs and structured geometry often seen in Turkmen pieces.
Woven in richly dyed wool on a wool foundation, the rug has a dense, textured feel and lasting durability. The deep red and indigo palette creates a strong visual anchor, while the pattern brings balance and rhythm to any space.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
Our carpets are made to be lived with, not just looked at. But like any heirloom, they thrive with care.
- Shake, don’t scrub. For regular upkeep, gently shake or vacuum your carpet to lift out dust and dirt. Avoid using a beater brush.
- Spot clean with love. If there's a spill, blot gently with a clean cloth. Use mild detergent and cold water, no harsh chemicals.
- Rotate occasionally. Turning your carpet every few months helps it wear evenly, especially in high-traffic areas.
- Let it breathe. Wool loves air. Every now and then, let your carpet soak in sunlight and fresh air, just not too long to avoid fading.
- Professional help for deep cleaning. Once in a while, a gentle hand wash or expert cleaning will restore its natural glow.
These carpets are built with resilience, just like the people who’ve woven them for generations. Treat them kindly, and they’ll walk with you for years to come.
